We are currently seeking an assistant coordinator to help in overseeing our after school program, called Cougar Club. Qualified applicants should be mature and responsible, and 21 years of age or older. Responsibilities include: ensuring students’ safety, overseeing high school staff, and handling day to day activities that include signing in students, playing activities with them, such as arts and crafts, as well as games; and helping students with their homework needs if necessary. The assistant also needs to have professional and positive communication with all students, parents, and staff.
Strong work ethic
Some experience working with children of all ages, specifically 3K through 8th grade
Availability during the hours of 2:30 and 6pm, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursdays
Strong leadership skills
Ability to develop a close rapport with the Coordinator of the program to ensure that there is consistency within the program regarding policies, safety, student behaviors, and parent communication.
Safeguarding God’s Children, a class that is required by the Archdiocese also needs to be taken and completed before employment.
